EQUITAS

Equitas by Blessing Hancock is a lighted sculpture that radiates positivity, justice, and harmony. Positioned outside the entrance to the new Salem Police Station, the sculpture provides a welcoming expression and monument to the mission and values of the police station. The sculpture incorporates text sourced from the Salem community, who were asked to submit words and phrases related to themes of honor, protection, and service. The community's words are illuminated via LED lighting, creating a brilliant display that's highly visible day or night.
