BRYONY ROBERTS Soft Civic
2019
Soft Civic was created by 2019 Exhibit Columbus Miller Prize recipient Bryony Roberts. Roberts sought to activate the site outside of City Hall, generating a space for community engagement, collaboration, and play. The artwork visually responds to and interacts with the geometric architecture of the City Hall building, creating an interplay of color, reflection, and light. The project is a catalyst for community activity, inviting both impromptu exchanges, as well as planned events, such as public meetings and performances. See more on Bryony Roberts' website, and on Exhibit Columbus' website.
